Our Shop

Our shop, Our cheese

We are taking the first steps on a long journey, one which others of a similar conviction, are taking us towards a radical change in current processes employed in the dairy ‘industry’.

As this is the beginning there will be some compromise and we will sell some cheese which does not fully underwrite our vision and policy. But if we were to be too strict, we would end with only three to four cheeses on our counter.

Some of our cheeses, Oxford Blue and Oxford Isis, are set to be produced by the milk from a small herd practising keeping the calf with its mother, but this will take a certain amount of time as replacing existing methods of practise and new cows of a different breed, will take time. There are certain farmers whose products we will promote straight away, and these include the list shown here.

The shop will be open Thursdays – Saturdays 10:00 – 17:00 and will be managed by Lou Pouget and there will be the availability to consume cheese plates with our own wine from the Ardeche.

We are producing our own vegan cheese which will be called Oxford Blue plant based, first samples of which will be available to taste in November 2026
